Abstract โ€•โ€‹

The objective of this article is to investigate the current recruitment procedures utilized by government agencies, with the goal of providing a more comprehensive examination of both internal and external employer search techniques. Specifically, the author drew on survey results collected from the 134 Human Resources (HR) managers and officers responsible for HR operations in public sector agencies in Cordillera Administrative Region between October 1 and October 20, 2023. There is a considerable difference in efficacy between the internal and external recruitment tactics, with the internal strategy being significantly more effective than the external one. The results reveal that this difference is significant. At the same time as the exterior way of recruitment was only moderately effective, the inside approach of recruitment was extremely effective. The conclusion that can be drawn from this is that businesses ought to give internal recruitment tactics that have been demonstrated to provide superior results more weight than those that are external.
